Do you love on screen tying? Do you love rope bondage? Then you’ll love our new series “All About The Rope”! This series comes about because people keep asking me if there is video of a rope tie photoset they particularly liked- normally I shoot stills OR video, because one needs different lighting for each. I figured if I kept the lighting pattern simple but flattering I could get away with it. I also wanted to make more videos focussed just on the rope and on-screen tying, so if you are a fan of on screen tying you will love this series!
Kicking us off in style is the luminous Miss Zoe Page. Zoe and I have shot lots of stuff together before but all our videos have seen us playing characters. For this shoot we just wanted to focus on the bondage and be ourselves. So I set the cameras rolling and Zoe and I chatted about what tie to do first. We settled on a chair tie, with Zoe’s hands crossed in front of her like a Vampire (Zoe’s version) or an Egyptian Mummy (which is what I always call that bondage pose).
I tied her hands crossed first, with ropes going around her and the chair at armpit level as the foundation of the security of the tie. I added ropes crossing over her hands and binding her thumbs together so she couldn’t move her hands or twist them out of position, and secured this initial set with a rope lower down which ensured her elbows were kept tucked in. A good cinch and the top part of the tie was complete. I worked down, tying her around the waist to pull her back against the chair back, then added a rope around her upper thighs and the seat of the chair to hold her legs in place. A knee rope and ankle rope followed, and the final position was completed by pulling the ankle rope tightly, securing Zoe’s feet back under the chair so the most she could do was wiggle her toes.
