In 2017 I experimented with a Lytro Illum Light Field camera. This records still photographs with depth information. So you can move about and refocus the final shot, even look around foreground obstacles a bit. It’s recording a 3D snapshot of the scene but all from one lens.
I tried it out with Sophia Smith, tying her up and ballgagging her and taking a sequence of still photos which I then converted into video “snippets” to show the look-around nature. It’s like a (slightly) 3D slideshow. Here’s how it turned out!
