After days of lighthearted chatting on a dating app, Steve is finally going to meet Mayla at her apartment. In his mind, the meeting will be informal, but the moment the door closes behind him, Mayla’s intentions begin to reveal themselves.
Her movements are calm, deliberate, almost choreographed. First, the cold click of metal as a pair of handcuffs lock around his wrists. Before he can react, sturdy plastic ties bind him tightly, replacing one restriction with another. Mayla’s eyes remain fixed on him, reading his every twitch.
Then comes the dull sound of duct tape: wide strips wrap around him, binding him even more tightly, securing him to the chair with no room for doubt. For his voice, a bandana is tied tightly, then covered with duct tape, sealing his protests into muffled sounds.
Once finished, Mayla steps back, admiring her work like a craftsman satisfied with a finished piece. Without saying a word, she leaves the room, her heels echoing in the hallway. He remains alone in the room, struggling, every sound in the apartment amplified by his isolation. The appointment has become a silent contest.
