I am skating around the house in my new quads when Knotty Guy asks where my safety gear is. I am not wearing a helmet, knee pads, wrist pads and he insists I need a lesson in safety. I only agree to this since he is offering it for free. Next thing I know, I am hanging in the air with pink rope, still wearing my roller skates with a rock hanging from my skate. I suppose this is how I will not run into any rocks, nor get hit by a car or simply fall down when skating thru the city. My ponytail is bound and tied making my back arch which is a great stretch to say the least. I chitchat in the predicament as he spins me around to get a better look. He soon decides to change up the rope position on my legs and hair to show me just how safe I am hanging verses playing chicken with traffic or running into rocks and cracks in the sidewalks. He insists I am talking too much as he wraps pink wrap around my mouth but as you will hear, nothing is shoved in my mouth, so this only looks great but doesnt make me muffled as much as he and you prefer. My takeaway from this lesson of rope is that I really need a helmet and other safety equipment before I go skating thru the city.
