Ariel comes home to find some new furniture installed in the house: there are stocks on the landing! She can’t resist trying them out… and having a good old perve about how humiliating it would be to be locked in the stocks for real and having rotten fruit thrown at them. It’s a bit like a stress position, too! Then Hywel comes back, and he’s got PLANS for Ariel in the stocks! The electric toothbrush, for starters!
Hywel’s notes: we’ve actually left the stocks on the landing since shooting this video. They’ve been there for a couple of months so far, much to the amusement of visiting friends and the burglar alarm service men who came to the house. It’s a house with a stone dungeon under a bedroom. The stocks seem to fit right in! Also, apologies for the drifting focus in parts of this clip. We were trying out shooting video on our new stills camera and hadn’t quite got the hang of it yet.
